Moving Tiny Tiny RSS to Docker and automating builds of container and installation of new ones.
I have always liked to automate my work and hobbies to save time, get a know desired result and as a result have more time over to learn more and work on more interesting things.
Since I handle a lot of USB memory sticks and sometimes I consider the information sensitive I wanted an easy way to clean them. This solution is easy but not fast due to Raspberry Pi only supporting USB2.
After reading an article about shrinking Docker images I tried on one of my own containers and shrunk it by 56%. I also automated updates of the running container.
GIBL or Generate IP Black List collects information about bad IP addresses and generates lists to use with other services (IPS, firewall).
Wrote vtmon to watch a directory for new files and send them to Virustotal.
I've started to write a tool do "dedup" RSS articles when there is a big story that people and news outlets write about.
